Judith’s Famous Flag Challenge – Prepare for the March Winds

The tail end of winter is always he hardest time to get out and train, especially for those without a school (I know, I’m one of them!), so this month’s course is a challenge with just ONE obstacle. All you need for this month’s course is a large flag. I use 5×3 foot flags (any piece of fabric/beach towel/single quilt cover) and attach them to a six foot bamboo cane.

The challenges start off easy and get harder as they go on… Good luck!

  1. Walk up to a flag and pick it up.
  2. Wave the flag low down, in the hand away from the horse.
  3. Walk with your horse while waving the flag low down.
  4. Wave the flag high up, above head height, in the hand away from the horse.12291308_413387605534124_7883938355557454882_o
